Tails and Tales: Read to Therapy Dogs - featuring Nellie

Reading therapy dogs can help improve kids' confidence in their reading abilities. Since dogs are not judgmental, kids can read to them without feeling the pressure and anxiety that may come from reading to peers. Nellie is a registered therapy dog with Pet Partners that will be at the Audelia Road Branch ready to listen to any story of your choosing! This will be one-on-one, and first come, first served. Upon arrival, kids will be able to sign up for a 10-minute time slot to read to Nellie, their new furry friend.
